(Late) Medusa cosplay post 😅

Also before I go to bed, here's that Halloween Medusa cosplay I forgot to post last Halloween. 😂😅

Still wanna add a few things to it and am also thinking about at least trimming the sleeve down so it's not going past my wrist 🤔😑 although for those just joining and who aren't yet aware of my Revival AU, this is at least Medusa's base look in Kid Icarus; Revival. 😁

(Also wanna update the post I made introducing this AU since I've made a couple plot changes and shifted some of the events talked about in that post since I last talked about Revival 🤔)

Also face and makeup stuff under the cut. 😁

Accidentally took a pic of the second one with my camera flash on although decided to keep it since it gave very nice Goddess Of Darkness vibes imo. 😁

Also wanna see about practicing my makeup more to see about more closely emulating the way Medusa seems to do hers, 🤔 also wanna try to get some practice doing her tattoo in eyeliner just for a bit more authenticity.

Although for now at least I'm still pretty happy with what I did as a beginner 😁 who still has no idea how to do eyeliner NOT on my water line. 😑

Also personal headcanon is Medusa prefers focusing her makeup around her eyes and leaves her lips usually bare.

Still not done, but I'm getting closer!! 😁 Still need to buy fabric scissors tomorrow to remove one of the sleeves after I get the safety pins from my mom to pin it tighter before I sew it, also need to find somewhere in my city that sells headbands that'll stay on my head that I can glue/secure this to, although at least if I can get all that done I think it'll at least be passable as a Halloween costume. 😁 The fun stuff is the cosplay stuff after Halloween is over when I don't have a deadline. 😍

Also might have to get a SHIT ton of clear nail polish to go in between the paint layers after nearly 12 hours of getting angry at the paint for not going on and then finally realizing I think I need a buffer. 😑

Honestly though, even if this is all I'm able to do, I think I'd be happy at least for a Halloween costume, 😁 cosplay though there are WAY too many spots with no paint for me to not go absolutely crazy over. 😑

Also face thing under the cut just because I think the expression I made could make a somewhat decent smug Medusa sprite and wanna show it off. 😁

Also wanting to go on Tik Tok eventually for character cosplay skits and lip syncs so would've most likely had a face reveal anyways. 🤷‍♀️

Also anyone who wants to possibly draw this as an actual Medusa sprite, lemme know if you want me to do different ones. 😁 (seriously, the fact she only has 6 sprites and not ONE of them is her looking bitchy af should be illegal 😭)

Also here's that post I mentioned in this post not being able to post last night due to internet and connection issues, you can't really see much of a difference since all I did was sew it tighter in places they obviously expected me to have more volume in than I actually do, 😂 although HOLY SHIT!!! I DESPERATELY need a needle that won't break in half when I'm trying to sew four layers of folded up fabric together!!! 😵‍💫

Also had some fun and did some more cosplay expression sprites under the cut for if anyone wants to draw them as actual sprites. 😍😁

This would be for if her snakes did something she was proud of, but because I'm stuck with a plastic headband, just imagine them all hissing at and going for the mouse. 😅
