The investigation was revealed by the star athlete’s long-standing manager, Nugent Walker, after Bolt discovered discrepancies in his accounts, Jamaican news portal The Gleaner reported. Jamaica’s Financial Investigations Division and Financial Services Commission is reportedly looking into the case at investment firm Stocks and Securities Limited (SSL). #Women - After studying for five years at a university in London, Jessikah Inaba, 23, has become the #UK’s first blind and Black barrister. Inaba qualified for the Bar last week, having completed her full course in Braille. Her tutors and friends also helped.  “It’s been crazy – I still can’t really believe I’ve done it. One day I’ll wake up and realise how amazing this is,” Inaba said, according to the Daily Mail. “It was hard and I often thought of giving up, but my supportive family gave me courage and strength. “I always believed in myself from the start – there’s nothing about me which means this isn’t possible. It’s a really good feeling, I know I’m giving hope to others in similar situations to mine. #News — Ghana’s dancing pallbearers have sold their famous coffin dance meme as Non-Fungible Token or NFT for over $1 million. The sale of the meme was led by the Ukrainian advertising agency, Zlodei Advertising. The agency said it sold it at an NFT auction for 327 ETH (ether), which is equivalent to $1,047,806. Dubai-based 3F Music came out on top in the bidding round. This means 3F Music is now the official owner of the Coffin Dance meme. The New Voice of Ukraine reports that at least $250,000 from the sale will go to support Ukraine through the international charitable foundation Come Back Alive. Also, $500,000 will go to the stars of the viral video and the creator of the meme while the advertising agency will receive $250,000. Reposted from @imageof1love Reposted from @face2faceafrica #History — One of the less known revolts that was actually a huge success is the Little George Ship Revolt of 1730 that happened six days after the ship had sailed off form the Coast of Guinea heading to Rhode Island in the USA which was then a British Province where they would have been displayed and sold to plantation owners. On June 1, 1730, Captain George Scott sailed his ship, the Little George Ship with goods from Africa and 96 enslaved Africans. The slaves were not treated well and were closely packed together and chained down in heavy shackles in dark and poorly ventilated cabinets where they would have been for close to 30 days before reaching the New World.
