Hi Cara, Simon again.

I hope it hasn't been too long. Well.. I say that, but I know how long it's been. I lost more hours to sleep than intended, but here we are.

In the mean time you've sent back a ton of data in the 60 or so hours it's been since you've last heard from me. I got back item data from a few of the areas you passed through. Notably coordinates 30,4D, 00,1E and 01,3E.

We must be in the home stretch now. I can't imagine there are too many generated items out there to find. At least One of these has to be what we're looking for.

Let's buckle down and get you home, yeah?

Hi Cara, Simon again!

I've narrowed down the coordinates for what appears to be an item. It's lining up with what should be the same tileset that the Tile Reader is sending back to the PC, so I've got a feeling its going to be that.

It would be incredible if it was the ws �m, or if we were to find that the ws �m is nearby anyway but… well the Tile Reader would get us closer anyway. It would make it so that I'm not just reading raw data over here. I'd feel at least a little less blind.

Coordinates are E8, CF. I'm hoping that isn't too far away from your current position. Once Umbra comes back it would be a good idea to start heading out that way.

alright, understood. umbra came back with a haul of berries, so we should be set to start traveling again. its a miracle that we've managed to not run out of food yet.

ill start heading that way. judging by the co-ordinates on the equipment i've already recovered, we should be able to cover that distance with the supplies we already have.

umbra returned. she's okay.

she brought back multiple handfuls of berries. if im honest, its probably more than i would have gathered if i'd gone myself.

i guess she was able to tell how... roughed-up the last few days left me. apparently she wanted me to rest, too.

but she needs to rest more than i do. i dont need sleep. she does. im scared for her. as far as i know, she just didn't sleep at all last night.

once you get out we will have more information and more time to prepare to get your mother out, we will come back for her, but we need to focus on getting you out first

... we're a day's travel away from her now, and even if i decided to turn around right now to try to go back... i doubt my pokémon would let me.

no way to go but forward, i guess.

when we stopped to rest tonight, umbra refused to go to sleep. i gave up trying eventually and turned to leave so that i could collect berries again. there's only so much time in each night, after all. i figured that she would fall asleep eventually.

umbra lunged at me. faint attack, specifically, so it hit pretty hard. she made some tugging motions that i can only assume meant that she wanted me to stay behind before running off into the darkness.

i guess i have no choice but to sit and rest now.

i hate this.
