This magic is only part of what makes her all but mythic among men. Her beauty, her intelligence, her skill behind closed doors. Not even the long scar across her cheek detracts from this. She is the inspiration for countless poems and love letters, and the bane of wives everywhere.
When not working, she is cold and distant, as well as poetic and elegant. Ruby has studied extensively while under the “care” of Luken, and now has a vast knowledge of politics, history, arts, and more. She works often as his assistant, taking care of his finances, ledgers, and correspondences.
Ruby is always impeccably dressed. She never goes into public without having painted her lips a dark red color, jewels in her hair, and an immaculate gown that boasts of her great wealth.
Her magic does not cause love, but a loyalty bordering on obsession. For up to twelve hours after looking into her eyes, her magic will remain in effect depending on how long eye contact was held. Only direct eye-contact will cause it to effect your character. Mirrors, glass, veils, etc will negate the effects.
