3 Tips to Help You Land a FactSet Summer Internship
You still have time to land a summer internship! The spring campus recruiting season is kicking off in the next couple of weeks and FactSet will be looking for interns. Check out these tips from our recruiters.
a. If FactSet was at your school’s Fall Career Fair, it is likely we will attend the Spring Fair. Check with your school’s career center to see when the Spring Career Fair is and sign up early. Once you’ve confirmed we will be there, do your homework on us! We love with potential interns know all about our culture and requirements!. FactSet will also host other events on campus so always keep an eye on the career center’s calendar! We would love to speak with you!
a. We can’t stress how important it is to research our company! Nothing makes a FactSet Recruiter happier than a prepared candidate. This allows the recruiter to spend more time getting to know you as candidate as opposed to telling you about FactSet. Keep in mind, we want a two way dialogue! We know about US, but we want to know about YOU! Tell us about yourself and why you think you would be a great fit.
a. Keep the conversation going! Reach out to the recruiters you spoke with at the career fair. Be sure to reflect on your conversation and state your interest in their company’s internship opportunity. FactSet Recruiters speak with many students at career fairs, so by being specific in your email it is likely that we will remember you. If you are unsure of the application process attach your resume, and inquire if there are any other steps you need to complete to meet any deadlines.
