I think this story by @puppygirllaika gave me a Mommy kink. *Helped me accept my feelings about it.

Pup can talk about the bottom when they stop being shy. It was a hard but healing read for them. They did good.

Topside, it gives me somewhere to put all the Protective feelings I have, especially about littles. I realised this walking down the hall just now and it hit me so hard I had to sit down on the floor. I am a guard dog of a person. I will stand between you and anyone. I will do anything I can to make sure you are safe and happy.

I think I'd be a better Aunty. I always wanted to be the witchy aunt whose door is Always open to the kids in the family. Who will happily help you learn about Anything (especially if you feel like you can't talk to your parents about it). Who will kick Anyone out of the house if you don't feel safe around them. Who will always remind you it's okay to be yourself. Even in our family (they can't stop you, darling, not really).

What made this all hit home just now was reading one of @miscling's posts and finding @littlefaefae's blog and just. Being seized by the urge to protect faefae. Make sure faefae knows fae is so good, and so lovable, and so loved. Encourage and teach fae things that make faer eyes light up. Read fae stories. Do colours together. Sing songs.

These are new feelings for me, in this context.

They're warm.

I never really wanted to be a parent. But Aunty who helps with the kiddos when she's in town? Aunty who unconditionally has your back? That's the stuff dreams are made of

Fae-baby still isn't feeling well ,so if everyone could send prayers, healing energy and good vibes her way it would mean a lot to me.
