There definitely have been people who I for whatever reason hit it off with right away - I feel like people who are really talkative and excitable and extroverted are people I strangely hit it off with because even though I'm an introvert, I enjoy their energy - it really shows me that they're engaged and they're interested and they're just fun to be around - and they can bring out a more talkative side to me.

I don't know if I'd say I have a 'warming up' period - I try to be friendly who approaches - sure, maybe we're not instant friends but I'll try and treat them with decency and respect and unless they come into my dm's guns glazing or continuously make me uncomfortable, there'll be no coldness from me. I'd say once I exchange Discords with someone I usually open up more.

I definitely try to find a balance between serious and silly - for the most part, I just like trying to joke around and be more light-hearted but if someone needs to vent or is in a bad state of mind, I can get serious. I'd say I'm pretty casual, I don't often dm people first (not a deliberate choice, I just often don't have much to say or I feel like I need to have something to say - I need to work on that) and when I talk with people, it is largely about RP - that's not to say I won't listen to people talk about their other hobbies, anime they're into or maybe a convention they're excited about or their real life but generally, I like to keep a focus on RP 'cause it's what I'm here for.

"My fuckin' head, man, what the hells..?" The young man dragged a hand down his face, nearly knocking his glasses clean off. He stopped, blinking at them, and tried to piece together... anything.

A golden afternoon, the sunlight drenching woods and clearings alike. The stream babbled, cool as they knelt on a rock, holding a picture under the water and watching as the image of two young girls smiling on a day much like this one slowly washed away, drowned until it was just paper mush that tore and drifted away.

Their hands were different than the memory - hairier, more solid, and with a rose-like marking on one. And looking down revealed several even more obvious differences.
