A pause as he looked up. He honestly hadn’t been expecting to see the princess of Terca Lumeris here is Malkuth. Adjust his box of new parts, he headed towards her. She did stand out with her bright pink hair in a land where the most common hair color reflected the sun.

Asch sighed a bit, rubbing his temple as he looked at his twin in annoyance. ✧✦

“Miss, Miss, lets play a game.” An innocent smile graced the child’s lips as they looked up at the woman. Holding his doll loosely, Q couldn’t help but wonder just why he was ordered to break this person.

“I know it hurts, but you have to keep walking. There’s a town just up ahead.”

The two had taken quite the beating during their last fight against a group of monsters, however Verity clearly had it worse. There were wounds and cuts all over her, while Zachary only had a few small cuts and grazes. If it hadn’t been for him, his half-sister would have been done for, for sure.

Verity was clearly struggling to keep walking, and Zachary had already allowed her to hold onto him as the two made their way to a town they were somewhat familiar with--Halure, specifically. They’d encountered it before during their travels, however they never got a proper chance to take a look around. It didn’t seem like that would be possible this time either. 

Even as they arrived in Halure, they kept walking--they had to look for a doctor, after all. At first glance, it didn’t seem like there were any nearby, but Zachary refused to give up.

“With just a little bit of luck, we might be able to find a doctor somewhere around here. We just have to keep looking.”

“I know, but... It hurts- it hurts so much... I can barely walk.”

“I know that, but it’s not like we have much of a choice here.”

Hand pressed against his chest as he head was lowered, something he felt he hadn’t done in a while. With Emperor Peony, there was absolutely no real need to act so formally since the man treated him more like a companion a plaything than anything else.

Green hues flicked upward towards the princess of the foreign land, studying her carefully before speaking up. Why was he the one stuck with the job? 

“I am Gailardia of house Gardios, an embassy of peace from the kingdom of Malkuth. We are honored to be allowed such opportunity.” His words were formal and careful as he kept his head down.

A pause when he heard it, the subtle sound of his front door opening. Now, what was someone doing here? He had long since given up on making the place any sorts of nice looking, it was dangerous here and last he needed was the village to try killing him. 

Green hues shifted closed as he rested against the back of the chair. Maybe if he kept silent they would leave, grow unnerved by the barren and dark manor. If not, it had been a while since his last meal.
