opinion on snails?

I used to see them in the park near my college a lot whenever it rained. They liked to slime & slop around some rocks. The garden was very pretty. The snails had very pretty yellow and black shells. They were small guys. Sometimes I would see an empty shell, and it would make me a bit sad, but that probably just means another critter got to have a meal, so I guess that’s not too bad.
