Faerie fair and faerie bright; Come and be my chosen sprite. Moon shines bright, waters run clear, I am here, but where’s my faerie dear?

The Salt Witch
Courting the Faery Lover
Find a secluded place, at the edge of the woods - you’ll want to be close to the tree line. For several nights in a row, go to the edge of these woods and leave an offering. Split an apple in half, hollow out the core and pour honey or wine into the center. As you lay it down at the edge of the woods, make a call to your faery lover - let them know you’re there and seeking them. For the call to the faery lover, you can use what I've written, or make your own invocation as my poetry isn’t very good, haha (the more heartfelt and original to yourself, the better). My writing was specifically inspired by the Ballad of Tam Lin.
Follow the thread, my bonny knight I seek a lover fine, a lover mine A lover found with unseen sight I call out to you, faithful and true
I’ll kiss your petal lips, sweet to taste Seduce me, for you know I am yours Let me know thy sweet, fair face Fall once more into love’s embrace
Together let us pluck that double rose And lay us down in mossy groves Soaked in sunset's last longing hours Consummated love amongst the flowers
We’ll make a bed of this green bank Entwine to me, as I fall ever into you Sweet flower, the nectar you drank Tonight I’m yours, let's give the devil his due.
You can decorate your offering, you can add spices to the mix - cinnamon, clove, ginger, orange peel, pomegranate, plum, peaches, etc. The fair folk love gifts of fruits, honey, cream, and decadence. Around the apple offering you can arrange beautiful flowers, greenery, leave gifts (buttons, stones, etc). The point here is to make it as enticing as possible. You are courting your faery lover, after all.
Make sure to consume the other half of the apple while you wait. Let yourself taste the fruit, sensual and ripe and shared with your lover.
Let yourself become completely entranced, hypnotized. If you’re in a very isolated place, you can pleasure yourself as an additional offering and enticement - show the faery lover your passion and ecstasy. Touch yourself as you imagine your lover would - move slowly, let yourself be seduced and enraptured by this. If you’re not able to do this in the woods, you can do it later at your home. You can also abstain from orgasm, bringing yourself to the edge and holding off, to build up for the final night of the ritual. In this way, you are fanning the flames of desire.
Do this for a few nights (at least three), to show that you’re determined in your pursuit. As you do so, toss a spool of thread deep into the woods and hold onto one end of the string. While this was a component of a folk spell to divine a future husband, I’m using it here to call forth the faery lover and pull them from the other woods. As you slowly pull the thread back to you, notice for any tugs or stops in your reeling. If you notice this, all the better - the faery lover is getting closer, answering the call.
On the final night, your faery love should emerge from the forest. Offer them your love, your pleasure, your passion.
If you cannot go to the woods, or cannot perform the rite outdoors then here is an altered version:
As before, leave the apple offering at the edge of the woods and consume your half. However, this time you will take some bread with you and leave a trail of breadcrumbs that the faery lover may find their way back to you. If it is too far away for you to do that, then leave your bedroom window open for the three or four nights you work the ritual and before you go to sleep at night, make the call to the faery lover so that they may follow the sound of your voice and find their way to you. While based off folklore and fairy tales, this working is designed to be adjusted to meet your needs for flexibility.
Whether you do this indoors or outdoors, hide away all possessions that may be made of iron before calling to the faery lover. As always - and it should go without saying - use your good common sense when dealing with spirits.
