2020-09-19 Hohes Brett (action cam) Deutsch: Wir starten vom Parkplatz Hinterbrand bei Berchtesgaden und wandern zur Mittelstation der Jennerbahn. Auf der Bergstation angekommen starten wir zu unserer Wanderung auf das 2340 Meter hohe Hohe Brett, wobei wir nicht den Weg über das Stahlhaus nehmen sondern den Pfad der zuerst zum Skilift führt und sich dann mit dem Weg vom Stahlhaus hinauf verbindet. Zuerst ist es ein leichte Wanderung, die dann aber in steiniges und schroffes Gelände führt und an der steil ansteigenden Wand des Hohen Bretts bis zum Jägerkreuz einige leichte Kletterpassagen in sich birgt. Vom Jägerkreuz geht es dann wieder einer Wanderung gleich zum Gipfelkreuz, von wo wir einen wunderbaren 360 Grad-Rundblick genießen, vom Hohen Goll hinüber zum Schneibstein, Faggstein, Großer Hundstot, Watzmann, Hochkalter, Untersberg und hinein nach Salzburg sowie hinunter zum Königssee nach St. Bartholomä. English: We start our hike at the parking place Hinterbrand near Berchtesgaden and go over to the middle station of the Jennerbahn, the newly build cable car station where wie take the ride uphill. There at the station at the top of Mount Jenner we start with our climb on the summit of the 2340 meter high Mountain Hohes Brett, whereby we doesn’t take the usual route via the Stahlhaus but the trail to the ski lift which later flows into the trail which comes from the Stahlhaus. First it’s an easy walk but it leads soon into stony and steep up ground of the footwall of Mount Hohes Brett which then has some parts to climb until we reach the so called „Jägerkreuz“. From there it’s again a nice hike to the summit cross of Mount Hohes Brett where we can enjoy a fantastic 360 degree view from the neighbor mountain the Hohe Böll to Mount Schneibstein, Faggstein, Großer Hundstot, the famous Mount Watzmann, Mount Hochkalter, the Untersberg and to the city of Salzburg and last but not least down to lake Königssee to St. Bartholomae.
