And my bake with the left over whites and lemon juice from the lemon curd- lemon meringues. They turned out ok, as I think they needed beaten a bit longer + it's 91% humidity and thunderstorming outside. I put the food coloring along the outside of the piping bag (aka the ziploc I was using because I don't own piping bags) to get the stripe pattern, an idea I saw on the Great British Bake Off. Also, a new tag of #the great summer bake off of 2017 has been started to catalog all my baking escapades this summer, as I want to try more complicated things. If you don't want to see that, block that tag.
I tried to make crumpets
but they turned out to be english muffins. How have I gone so awry? D:
IM SO UPSET/ IM ALSO LAUGHING because my friend Kaden and I tried to make skull-shaped cookies and they ALL EXPANDED IN THE OVEN INTO ONE BIG COOKIE I am not a baker
