A Mountain Nature (Banff National Park) by Mark Stevens Via Flickr: While at a parking area overlook along the Lake Minnewanka Scenic Drive in Banff National Park. The setting is looking to the east to Mount Inglismaldie and other peaks of the Fairholme Range. My thought on composing this image was to take advantage of a break between the trees and capture that look beyond to the more distant ridges and peaks. The rest of my thought on this image was pulling back on the focal length and lining up the mountain to have it fill most of the image as I angled my Nikon SLR camera from this overlook position.
