Speedwagon’s eyes went wide open at the thoroughly unexpectedactions from the gentleman. He froze right on the spot, unable tobreathe, much less to speak or even move a single inch. Even hisheart seemed to have stopped, too. To say he was genuinely shockedwould be an understatement.
As Jonathan pulledaway from the kiss, Robert could only stare at him; mouth slightlyagape as he struggled to find some words, or his voice to even letthem out for that matter, but he couldn’t find either for a moment.
“MisterJoestar…” He finally breathed out a moment later, incredulous atthe whole thing, not even sure if this was real or just a simpledream, something his mind was just making up to try to sate hisburning desire to have a special place in the gentleman’s heart.
That didn’t mattermuch right now, did it? It was Jonathan who started this. Even ifthis was the real deal, Robert at least had the reassurance that the otherhad at least wanted to give this a try, no? Else he wouldn’t have gone asfar as to kiss him…
God, why did it haveto be so hard for him to live and deal with such intense feelings asthose he held towards the heir of the Joestars’ legacy…?
In an impulse,though, straight from the heart, Speedwagon reached out beforeJonathan leaned back further and out of his hands’ range, cuppingthe brunet’s face with both of them, perhaps with a slightroughness to his touch due to his growing need for more, and pulledhim close once more, pressing his lips against those plump ones of thegentleman, in a chaste kiss.
But, before he couldeven think of allowing himself some more time to enjoy that sweet sensation, a pang ofguilt shot through him. Was he being selfish? Probably. And thatthought itself was enough to make him pull away, even though he didnot want to. Worry then began to take over. Would Jonathan think lessof him now that he had finally revealed his “gross” and“indecent” side? A bit of a silly idea, considering it had beenJonathan the one who had made the first move but, perhaps he’d hada solid reason for what he did…?
“I’m… I-I’msorry, Sir! I… I SHOULDN’T ‘AVE DONE THAT…!” He nearly shouted, apologizingprofusely, and felt the sudden urge to dart off and disappear, fearingrejection from the man that meant the most to him in the entireworld. “I beg your pardon for my recklessness!!”
