A method to enter houses guarded by Light Mimics has been discovered. A new entity type was found inside of these houses, flitting among the rooms and staying in proximity to the artificial lighting. Their movement emits sound similar to jingling bells.

can fairy lights be pushed around? what happens if one tries to push it outside of the house? additionally, does the light mimic attempt to target researchers if they are inside the house?

Considering that Fairy-lights cannot open doors, it is likely that they have never seen the outside of their houses. Relocation of Fairy-lights has not been attempted at this time as it is unclear how they will fare outside of their native environment.

Light Mimics appear unaware when humans are inside their houses as they do not look through the windows.

Do the Fairy Lights ever interact with their local Light Mimic?

Fairy-lights appear indifferent or curious to researchers within their vicinity. They will flit towards light sources, including flashlights and lanterns held by researchers.

The entities do not appear to interact with Light Mimics in any way. While they reside solely in houses where Light Mimics stay, they confine themselves to rooms including light and almost never have a way to even view Light Mimics.

how did u bypass the light mimics?

can the fairy lights fly? what are those veil thingies trailing behind them?

The Fairy-lights are capable of levitation not unlike several other entity types. The purpose of the cloth-like membranes that trail off of them are currently unknown, but it is theorized to help in directional maneuvering. They seldom lift high enough off the ground that it is not touching the floor.

if a fairy light is forced out of its house and into the view of the light mimic, what happens?

This has not and will not be attempted to nullify the possibility of the Fairy-lights being injured. Light Mimics will also catapult drones and other remote devices and so it is unclear how they would react to a smaller entity.
