In a universe where everyone is born with numbers on their wrists counting down to when they’ll meet their soulmate, send me 00:00:00 for my muses reaction to their numbers hitting zero when they meet yours.
What was he supposed to do. The number on his wrists wouldn't stop moving down no matter what he tried. Moving from one place to another didn't work at all, the numbers continuing to gradually get lower and lower each passing second. Sure, maybe he had been expectant of this moment for a very long time, but he had never thought it'd come so quickly.
He groaned. Kuroo hadn't mentally prepared himself for something like this, wasn't ready for the fateful meeting that would have to happen either way. It was just a superstition, that's what many had said and were proven wrong, so Kuroo didn't really dare to go against such a logic. Which made him all the more nervous.
Usually, he'd take talks about this situation really smoothly and with ease, being the giant teaser and provocation master he was, talking about this sort of thing was no problem. But now that it was actually happening, he couldn't help but freak out.
Tensing up, feeling as if he were made out of stone, he heard a female voice come from behind him, and once he heard it, he looked down to his wrists, only to find multiple zero's drawn on them. It was time. It had finally come and he was still not ready for it. Taking in a deep breath, Kuroo turned around, a small grin playing on his face as he went to meet his soul mate for the first time.
Once he did turn, he found himself staring directly at a girl, who, judging by her wrists which shone the same numbers he had, was to be hid significant other. "Hey~" He said, trying to make the situation less awkward than it already was, "Ehem. Nice to meet'cha I guess~ Oh, and the name's Kuroo Tetsurou by the way." Great. He hadn't known what else to say to the stranger but that. But hey, it worked.
