the week of paying rent was a bitch. of course faith considered not having enough money to pay at the supermarket. in fact, she had been thinking about it obsessively while she was in line, but as her name stated it, she kept the faith on having enough for the day. except she was about ten bucks short at the time to pay. “shit.” she whispered to herself, looking at her groceries and thinking what she could leave and come back later for, but everything seemed kind of necessary. “fuck- uhm-” without any other idea, faith turned to the person behind her in line. “hey- i’m- would you by any chance have ten bucks to spare? i’ll pay you tomorrow, i promise.” she trusted her big blue eyes to do all the convincing work for her.

starter for lucifer ( @ofmcthman​ ) location: lucifer’s place

it had almost become a habit for faith to pass by lucifer’s house (more like his bed) every wednesday before the club opened. she had a sitter come in earlier, nobody asked questions, it just worked- and she got to her job feeling slightly less stressed and ready to put up with stranger’s bullshit. a good arrangement really. it had only been a minute since they were done, when faith got out of bed, grabbing lucifer’s t-shirt from the floor and slid it on. “i’m starving- please tell me you have something good in that fridge.” it was unlikely, but still, she ventured herself into the kitchen, looking inside the big white cold box as if she could suddenly make something appear with her mind.
