Faaaaaake Friiiiday!!
Fake Friday is worse than Monday. I know what to expect out of a Monday. I have such a low expectation that most pleasantness on that day is a welcome boon.
Fake Friday is the negative reflection of Monday. There is the excitement of the coming weekend, only to realize that another weekday is still to come before the full freedom of the weekend.
Obviously, anyone operating under alternative work or school schedules have differing experiences. It's the false promise of a dangled freedom on Fake Friday that is the most frustrating for me. Knowing I have to get up to go to work the next day dampens my enjoyment of any "free" time on Thursday evenings.
