March 30
Today, after waking up five, short hours after going to sleep, I felt as if a train weighed less than my eyelids. I guess after my usual cup of "wake the hell up" coffee I felt better cause I stayed awake. Today, was a movie day for me. Considering my lonesome, meaningless, unsociable life means being alone on spring break, I thought that I might as well entertain myself. Culture in itself being my utter joy, movies was about all I had to pass the day away. Though my grandfathers ongoing lawn mowing was in the background thus limiting my hearing ability, I was occupied. I wonder, as I often do, what most people do on spring break. All the people I could think of where going to the beach to '"party". What does that even mean? This isn't "The Hangover"! Parties don't just find you! Your going to go to PC and get sun poisoning and then come home claiming you "partied" all week. Fun. I'd rather watch movies....
Diesels fake party invites: Crocodile "tears of joy"
Diesel has launched in India, and for their launch-party they invited celebs with a little bottle of crocodile tears.
"Inspired from the dubious factoid that India has the largest number of Diesel fakes in the world, Diesel’s launch party in India was called the "Fake Party". Celebrities including movie stars, fashionistas, and other A-listers had to be invited to this party. To invite the celebrities to this party we sent them "Tears of Joy" - 100% Natural Crocodile Tears that was actually a bottle of glycerine. This unpretentious dig on the ever-socialising celebrity lifestyle established an instant connection with the celebrities. Some of them blogged about it, few asked for an extra piece to play a prank on their friends, and almost all of them (438 out of 500 invited) turned up at the party to revel in its mad fun - this time, for real."
