...Right. I should just- please let me sleep. If I pass out while standing it's your fault.
Fine.
Pathetic Dog.
Behind the Scenes | 2x08 - “Kiss in the Rain” scene
Source: Michael Weinberg
Torture- no- no, sorry- sorry- you're training me. I'm- you're training me. I'm sorry-
Yes I have to retrain you, again, because you are a worthless Dog.
*She pushes the shard in your leg deeper*
What are you, Dog.
...No. Find something else, or I'm not doing it. Not budging on this, Rain.
Fine. Put yourself into solitary and don’t leave for ten weeks.
Just stay in your room, don’t let anyone in. Doesn’t matter whose outside the door you stay put.
[The exhaustion fully hits at this moment, and their mind starts going blank. Rain is getting easier to ignore the closer they get to passing out.]
*she watches you, and grins* Fall asleep, Cedar. Nothing’s going to happen when you’re asleep, right?
After all I’m just in your head. *the prison rebuilds behind her, and she smiles at you.*
Go to sleep. Leo will be safe. So will Cap. Moss won’t come.
You won’t be left alone.
I thought I wasn't supposed to think. I'm sorry.
You always say that, I’m dead. Who else is going to think dumbass?
Garden Report 20.06.19
Laying in bed this morning, listening to the never ending rain ... and I notice that its getting brighter. I peek out of the curtain and am met by blue sky! Rain? There’s no rain! So I run to the laundry room and I am still hearing rain! Then I realize the gas water heater is set to come on to accommodate the morning needs. What I was hearing on the other side was the heater warming! So an hour more in bed due to a decoy.
Took care of the chick babes then out to the garden to get greens. I alternate alfalfa pellets with fresh greens because they are eating so much! But back out in the garden I am met with decimation. That lovely newly sprouted box I had noticed things being nipped off at or below soil level yesterday but this morning, everything! Not a bean had a leave; just skeleton leaves. Any thing that wasn’t lettuce or borage was done. Earwigs! I know those leaves and that is definitely earwig damage. Time to eat some tuna and make oil traps. I like the tuna tin because of it low profile but I guess any shallow tin or similar in nature could be used. Add a bit of cooking oil to the tin/ can so that when they crawl up and fall in, they are trapped in the oil (and die). Every morning fish out the bodies and you are good to go again. Some people like to nestle it in the soil at the edge of the garden. I just plunk mine at the side as to keep more dirt out as people and pets flop about the garden. You could use the newspaper/ garden hose section/ split bamboo cane tricks (lay them out at sunset and gather up at dawn) but that requires me to get out there and empty traps of live critters. Maybe after the chicks graduate to outdoors I will be more inclined as they would benefit from some live protein but to go out an smash bugs first thing in the morning is not how I like to start my day.
So with that downward dilly, I am done with the summer garden and turning towards what I can do for a Autumn/ Winter garden.
Other doings: Consolidating my seed boxes. Summer pruning for some of the fruit trees that just went wild with all this rain. The transplanted roses are coming back! Huzzah! Found an offspring of one of my favourites (one that I moved and thought I killed) -- love this rose as it is an apricot colour and a beautiful spicy fruit fragrance. Lovely in the garden, lovely as a cut stem, just an all around wonderful rose that is pretty resistant to pest and disease (knock on wood!). The big squash is holding tight its flowers; noticed the leaves are starting to yellow so need to give some feeds to the container bound. Maybe I can manuever some pots into better sun -- jockeying pots for sun light! Its a garden dance! The little vermin are packing around the fruit of the seedless plum (edible, red skinned, yellow fleshed, cherry sized plums). Part of me is like ‘oh how charming! They are eating moonlight meals on the bistro table’ or ‘look! they are perched on the mushroom stump, munching and enjoying the view’ then I shake my head at these child-like fantasies and get back to cleaning up the caches of critter messes. Pulling up nasturtiums; they are a weed in my garden that chokes out everything. I can’t get them to grow where I want -- they have their own mind and preferences so we co-exist until their boisterous ways of killing others cause their own demise when I come along and see that. The hyssop has gotten really weird this year. For a couple of years, they only produce witches broom and now their is a secondary whorl. I’ve asked another gardening friend who raises fresh cut flowers as a business and she is at a loss but wants a couple to grow. We will tie a string on it and hopefully that marker will stay so we can gather seed and she can take the plant when it goes dormant. I’ve tried to get the seeds to germ but I think they are sterile seed. Mutants. Clones. Speaking of seed: its time to winnow and store the seed from the plants I pulled to save seed from. It will be interesting to see how many are viable seed.
