Pregame audition stuff for the AU yay
Yeah, I’ve come up some ideas for the pregame auditions for the AU, so here we are.
Kaede, Kaito and Shuichi basically stay the same: Kaede has no faith in humanity, Kaito is a psycho and Shuichi is a massive Danganronpa fanboy.
My headcanon for Pregame!Gonta is that he was a delinquent (kinda like Kaito I guess), but he regrets his actions and is trying to reform. So the reason he signed up was that he could officially leave his past behind and be one of the “good guys”.
As for Maki, I headcanon that Pregame!Maki was the complete opposite of in game Maki; weak, timid, shy, pacifistic and kinda a pushover. So the reason she signed up was because she was sick of being weak and wanted to be strong like the heroes shown in seasons before.
...Oh yeah, and while we’re here...
I know this is for Season 52, but something I came up with for Rantaro was that him and the Ultimate Survivor for that season were friends before she entered Season 51. And the reason he initially joined was to fight alongside her. (And she ended up being his Kyoko/Chiaki/Shuichi/you get the idea for that season.) Also (because I also headcanon that Tsumugi was the mastermind LOADS of seasons of the show) because he wanted to be the one to take Tsumugi down. (But he had to wait until 53 to actually do it XD)
And even though he wasn’t actually in the killing game, the reason Fake Rantaro signed up for a job at Team Danganronpa was...Well...Let’s just say he was a bit like Pregame!Shuichi.
