@taylorswift I went to Taylor Swifts trial against Mueller in Denver, where I live, 2 days in a row.
I’ve been a fan since I first saw her music video for Teardrops On My Guitar on a country music TV show.
This trial was especially important to me since I went through a Sexual Assault case in October of 2015. I don’t think it was an accident that her scenario took place in Denver- I was SO meant to be there. Taylor and her lawyer’s determination, and purpose was so admirable to say the least. The confidence she had in her answers on the stand and the pure fearlessness had me sitting in the back yelling “YASSSS GIRLLLL!!!!” in my head. I sat directly behind her father and brother Austin. Her dad was so insanely sweet as he turned around to ask how I was and thank me for coming. Her body guard was making little origami animals out of blue sticky notes as Mueller’s best friend took the stand. As he finished each origami animal, he set them in front of me and I couldn’t help but laugh, what a dork. The whole experience watching Taylor fight in such a classy and sharp way gave me the confidence to have the same attitude towards my case.
The very day her trial ended, I was eating at a restaurant at the airport that I fly out of a lot- since I am a student Pilot. The restaurant over looks the ramp with all the business, private, and school jets, and my little rental Cessna plane was sitting out there awaiting my return. Checking out the jets, I noticed one that I haven’t seen before with “TS” on the tail. Instantly I knew it was Taylor’s Falcon! I took a few pictures as I finished up eating and walked back out to the ramp to get my plane ready. As I walked out there I saw that her falcon was on, and realized that since her trial ended she was probably going to be getting on the falcon soon to take off! Ugh, can you imagine being her pilot though? Literally my life career goal (Taylor if you’re reading this, please hire me one day) Anyway, I decided to sit there in admiration for a while waiting to see if I could catch her getting on the plane and sure enough a van pulled up and she got out. However, I saw her for a split second before her guards opened up umbrellas to cover her getting on the jet. Still in awe though. I witnessed her literal greatness at her trial, I was parked next to her on the ramp, we use the same flight service, oh and both had the same dinner from that restaurant. I think we’re best friends now. Haha. But honestly it was the coolest thing ever and I can’t wait to one day possibly meet her and I’ll stop at nothing to become her pilot one day. I love her and her new album reputation has been on repeat all damn day. She’s the best thing that’s happened to music and the best thing that’s happened to my confidence towards my own case. @ Misslerouxx on Insta and Twitter
