saw your white flecks on cas wings post and like...love to think that they're like grey hairs. but cas likes them bc angel wings are immutable and Not Supposed to Do That but his are changing!
yesssss!! yes!! i like to think they started out as baby feathers that he still had (which hadnt gotten burned/altered by his trip to hell) but once he starts to fall, his wings sort of.. stop changing/stay the way they are when he falls? which means hes stuck with the white. and at first he haaaates it because all the other angels see it as a sign of his immaturity and even where they used to respect him before for having marks from making it into and out of hell in one piece, now that hes fallen the other angels only focus on the white marks as a way to mock him etc etc etc. of course eventually somehow or another dean finds out that cas has these white feathers and makes a comment about how cas is graying (intending of course to tease him) and cas is like "what the fuck does that mean" until he finds out its a sign of seniority and hes absolutely BLISSED about it.
Safe to say this year has been a lot of things. This going to be my Tumblr thanks as… well I’ve basically just been on Tumblr this year.
I’ve said it before, but I was very very very close to leaving Tumblr at the end of last year, I was more on Twitter in another fandom all together and then Supernatural got its claws into me and here we are lads. Pulled back and over the precipice into this hellsite.
