i can recognize that this is a little unbearable of me but yes im aware silent hill 2 is an extremely confusing story wrapped in several layers of symbolism and our protagonist’s own cognitive distortions told in a surreal non-linear manner so of course people will interpret it in different ways. that being said if i see an interpretation i dislike i will start blasting

late as fuck i know but i watched return to silent hill, and going into it i was aware of plenty of the choices that make it a horrible adaptation that entirely misunderstands the source material; mary laura angela crane and such. but no one warned me that they actually genuinely wholeheartedly removed james sunderland’s guilt. the whole reason that the story happens. i wish you could have seen my face upon witnessing that fully consensual mercy killing
