Samoan Hut aka Faleo'o - smaller than the 'Fale Tele' (big house) which is usually round in shape and serves as a meeting house for chief council meetings, family gatherings, funerals or chief title investiture, but now commonly used by families to sleep in or act as the 'main' house in which a Faleo'o is nowadays used to chill out in. Almost every family has a faleo'o either in the front yard or backyard, you can also find Faleo'os at beaches serving as beach fales or on the sides of the roads serving as bus stops / shelter.
This is Aunty Theresa's Faleo'o in Malie, Utupili - in her backyard right near the river. Awesome breeze! Fave hangout spot w/the cousins :)
