fall has fallen.

autumn seems to have arrived. early. or on time. it really depends on how you look at weather patterns. doesn't seem all that weird to me.

i like the cooler temperatures and the way sun hangs in the sky. i enjoy the smells and sounds of fall. leaves crunching under my boots that will later burn in fire pits in the backyards of riverwest.

i love love LOVE riverwest in autumn. it's when i feel most alive. everyone seems a little happier. everyone looks a bit more attractive. and everything feels cozy and comfy like a warm sweater or, god forbid, a pumpkin spice latte.

this fall i finally feel like i'm not falling apart. i've been trying for the last year to put myself back together. it's a constant process and it's not exactly easy but i am attempting to feel better about my life and be kinder to those that i love.

it's easier to do in fall cos i'm not sweating buckets and feeling sweaty and surly and gross.

it's easier to do when the sun is shining and the leaves are falling.

i mean, it's still a goddamn challenge. but it's cool.
