Here’s a little somethin’ somethin’ to celebrate the season! My new illustration is inspired by the foraging I did over the past few months (a lovely activity during isolating times). I made sumac lemonade, jelly from Queen Anne’s lace, and cooked the succulent blossoms of the milkweed plant! I am not an expert, but I feel I could survive a little longer in the wild if I needed to. I use ink and stamps and dies and embossing folders and things like that to make my cards most of the time. Every once in awhile, I use the computer and design something. This image of pumpkins inspired me to create the card you see here. I made it a mixed media card because there is some actual stamping and inking along with everything else.
