"Sorry dad but I have to miss camp dinner tonight. Johann is taking me out for dinner and the phantom of the opera musical."
☼ Hm? This was a little alarming. To some extent at the least. The young woman had seemed to enjoy camp so, and yet she had been older than the other children at Camp Half-Blood, and it was with a man that had raised her closer than he could have after a fate that he could not fix.
However, he would just give the slightest smile with a sad, yet understanding expression, one that he shared when his lovers expressed why their love could not continue in bond, still very empathetic, god or mortal. She at least did not seem to hate as much the godly blood that ran through her veins, though he could not be for certain.
“Very well. I would just advise telling Will as well. After all, he is head of Cabin. Just be wary that I may not be far from the performance myself. Not much of my personal enjoyment, though opera music had always proved well for metal-easing for potential sleep. And do avoid use of your powers as well. We both know how that can attract monsters. We not need to destroy more of New York.”
