and yes i do have headcanons for this (though, keep in mind i stick with canon a lot...):
fallenangel: well i think they pretty much showed us when these two realized they were in love in ep 124...
apple: i don’t think yugo remembers when he fell in love or realized he was in love with her, i think he’s just loved her since he could remember. rin, on the other hand... i hc she realized she might like him when they were building their D Wheel together. i think the moment when he saw him smile proudly after his first successful ride on their new D Wheel is when she realized she wanted to see his dorky smile everyday for the rest of her life.

fruits: dorks not realizing they’re in love whilst acting very much in love is one of my biggest fucking weaknesses...
yuzu for the most part knows how much she cares for yuya and that he’s important to her, and early on of course she gets jealous for example when mieru or other girls are around him, but she doesn’t realize what exactly that means in terms of her feelings. i mean they’ve been friends since they were kids, but i don’t think she realizes for herself she might like him til chojiro teases her about it at the end of ep 69. her blush, immediate apology for hitting chojiro for making her consider this, and her demeanor since that episode thereafter are kind of telling that she slowly realizes she actually really loves him.
yuya, on the other hand......... *laughs, sighs* i have to give it to him... for someone with a pretty high EQ, he is DENSE when it comes to his own feelings. i strongly headcanon even he doesn’t realize that he’s in love with yuzu by the end of arc v. not because he’s being tsundere about his feelings anymore, more like it’s because his strong feelings for her have become such a big part of his life and who he is and have evolved along with the rest of him that’s grown, it’s just kind of natural and seamless for him to feel that way towards her and he doesn’t feel like he needs to wonder or question himself about it. i headcanon that weeks, months, or maybe even years later, as he continues to grow, when he starts realizing that the feelings he’s shown throughout what we’ve seen in canon meant that he’s been in love with her for a long time now, it’ll be because someone tries to question him or tease him about it and he’ll just confidently reply with “of course i love her. what’s your point?” but then afterwards he’ll realize what he said and just tell yuzu that he really means it. that he loves her. that he’s in love with her and has been for who knows when (yuzu would know since when tho, of course).
