Gregory savored that sound, grinning to himself like a love struck fool. Although, in a way he certainly was. He then froze a bit as he was lifted, but when he realized why, he let himself relax once more. Silently agreeing that the new resting position was indeed much more comfortable. Much more, close. While he basked in Luminous’ smile. Basked, under the touch of those warm hands.

“Such flattery~”

He teased, and then paused. That dark, cheshire like grin slowly coming across his lips at the mention of playing some sort of game. Nothing but mischievousness, waiting to pounce. From innocent, to horribly dangerous. He knew of all sorts of games. But, he would spare the other and let him choose.

“I love all sorts of games. What do you have in mind?”

Soothed, by the hand that slowly traveled down his back. Slowly letting himself relax under the touch, but careful not to go to far. Not wanting to drop his phone, or worse, start dozing off. He soon hummed in thought about the other’s words, his tone. To which he smiled.

“Brutus is untrusting and cautious, which I find amusing considering I feel the same way about him.. As for the others, there is TNTina, Rue and Renegade Shadow. As well as a man named Abstrakt, who recently joined our ranks. TNTina is our explosives expert. Rue and Renegade Shadow are very excellent assassins. Abstrakt is a field agent, he knows the lay of the land very well.”

He explained as his tendril typed away, Luminous’s suspicions were rather spot on. Gregory certainly didn’t need to see, nor did he even need to actually type. But, typing seemed like a normal action to do. An action of reflex, no matter which limb held his phone.

“I hope you take no offense when I say.. that seems rather charming.”

Spoken with a genuine smile in his tone, fighting against the urge to say ‘cute’ or even ‘adorable’ when Luminous mentioned dribbling. He did not wish to offend, or worse, sound demeaning.

To be held, so tightly, and so close. In that moment, he felt safe. Truly safe, for the first time in a long time. There was no danger to reach him, no judgement in those arms that kept him close. He could be, just a little vulnerable. For just a little while.

He could hear, the break in the other’s voice, and Gregory slid his arms around Luminous. Holding him just as tight, in hopes to make him feel, just as he felt in this moment. Safe, and cherished.

“I know you are correct, I can feel it. I have also seen it..”

He softly hummed in thought, as he shifted just enough so he could rest his head upon Luminous’s shoulder. His face nestled against the other’s neck.

“You made a lot of good points today, during our scuffle with Deadeye. Your advice and way of planning, is certainly trust worthy. I think I know a good position for you here..”

Gregory could only smile as he listened to Luminous speak, watching that handsome grin adorn the other’s face. The events from the past few weeks made for quite a tale, and he found himself agreeing. It certainly was all remarkable, and he wouldn’t change it for the world.

“Well if it is a dream, I pray it never ends~”

A pleased hum escaped him, even more so as those lovely hands cupped his face. Basking in that stroking touch, as he clung to every word. His heart fluttering away as Luminous got closer, and the only thing he could do was melt as those sweet lips kissed his own. What a marvelous dream indeed.

“Only two days.. and here I feel as if, this moment could last forever. How lucky I am, to have met you.”

He lifted his hand again, to slide his fingers through Luminous’s hair. Letting out a soft hum, as he savored the softness.

“It is as if you were made from the stars themselves~”

Gregory’s blush deepened a few shades at the other’s words, chuckling softly as he basked under that gaze. That handsome, lopsided smile. Placing an affectionate peck against Luminous’s nose.

“You are rather grand at this yourself~ Your kisses, are something I could certainly get use to.”

He let out a pleased hum as he rested his arms around the other’s neck, but then he shyly glanced away. Glancing down at the hand upon his knee, a welcomed touch. However, he felt that uncertainty creeping in again.

“What does that mean for us now? That is if.. there is an us. Pardon me if I’m.. moving to quickly.”

Gregory gave a chuckle as he reached for his phone, sliding it open and typing away at something.

“I shall make you an appointment with my tailor, she does excellent work. I’m sure she could even make you some pajamas. I’ll pay for the expenses, no need to worry about that.”

He explained as he typed up a detailed email and then sent it to said tailor, before he set the device down again. Turning his gaze to Luminous, a smile on his lips as he watched the man relax. Certainly a pleasant sight, especially considering all the other had gone through.

“What a handsome thief you make. You can steal as many days, as many moments, as you like. I know I would never protest.”

Gently, leaning into the other’s touch. Turning, tilting his face to place a faint kiss against the other’s wrist. Willing to just melt in the other’s palm. Part of him willing, to give Luminous what ever he wished for.

“Ouch. You know of my reputation and yet you insult me? I’m hurt~”

Gregory said in a mocking tone, as he rested his hand on his chest, feigning pain. His hand then lowered to rest against his mug, taking in the warmth as he settled his dark gaze back on Deadeye. That gleam a little colder.

“I’m sure you are aware of my battles against Ghost. So many of my own henchman had turned against me, betrayed me. So many that I thought I could trust.. They quickly learned that, if you betray me. You raise your weapon against me. I will kill you.. I have played this sort of game before, and each time, those who can not be persuaded, will simply die.”

He said it with such a casual shrug, that grin never leaving as he sat back in his chair. His war with Ghost had taught him many things, and of course Von Doom was greater then Midas, in every way. He would admit, the other was probably a much greater threat. But, Gregory has learned greatly from his past mistakes. Mistakes, he wasn’t to keen on repeating. He couldn’t. He wouldn’t, leave Shadow without a leader again. He couldn’t.. leave Luminous to an even worse fate. He needed to protect him..

“But for those who are loyal to me, they will not only fight at my side but I too will fight with them. Kill, for them. So Mr. Von Doom, should really be careful who he chooses to go against...”

There was a hint of a mischievous smile, when he noticed that shiver. Though that smile became a snort, which quickly melted into full blown laughter at the slogan that Luminous had given. It was far to humorous that he couldn’t help himself any longer. Soon wiping his eyes with the heel of his hand, while the other rested against his side, as he managed to calm himself.

“Goodness I need to write that one down. That was brilliant~”

He grinned at the other, before he reached for his phone again to do just that. One it was typed out and saved, he set it aside once more to gaze at Luminous. Still ever amused.

“You would make a lovely first customer. Or perhaps.. even business partner?~ Since this would be a wonderful back up plan.”
