I had a fantastic time earlier today participating in #LoireLovers chat. The region’s wines are some of my favorites for sipping and pairing with food. Generally speaking, the wines of the Loire Valley have an inherent brightness and approachability. The region is so diverse—offering something for just about every palate preference. Those who explore the wines of the Loire, and familiarize themselves with the different appellations, tend to ‘Fall in Loire’—more times than not. The bottles pictured here are from appellations: Crémant-de-Loire (SP Chenin Blanc), Saumur (Cabernet Franc), Sancerre (Pinot Noir), Anjou (Cabernet Franc), and Reuilly (Pinot Noir). All of these wines are affordable (nothing over $25 pictured), and all will work great on your #Thanksgiving table.
