Today my Grandmother would say, “The Moon is in the going down the drain…” For many of you that have read EPJ’s posts for awhile, you may know exactly what that means. Fall is underway and the “Feeling of it” can be felt.. as above so below. As the water swirls in a circular pattern, with the help of gravity, the sink will soon be empty. This is the time for Smoky Quartz. ✨ I know I have posted so many times about this, and may at times sound like a broken record, remember that there is an ancient truth behind Earth Medicine. It seems that this truth has been corrupted by many half truths and miscommunications due to the long game of telephone we as humans tend to play. The interwebs are just a “copy and paste” system and are beginning to reveal their true selves. I sometimes feel that the whole world is experiencing a chemotherapy of sorts. As we try to kill the cancerous cells that plaque us; we too are experiencing everything that is good slowly broken down. Being that smoky quartz is naturally irradiated, it is a protector physically and emotionally. This is also a time of reproduction, in the same sense, as above so below. As the Fall will leave much around us dying, it is preparing for a new birth that must come in spring but the seed is making a long preparation in the soil of the Earth. This is the same for us, we see and feel so much emotion draining downwards, but remember this is the preparation for the renewal that will burn slow all winter. To ignite into a high wild flame that melts the most persistant ice. The Moon is truly in our hips as the Fall in in our bones; in this day and of this season.
