Here are some fun & interesting facts about Daylight Saving Time: 🍁Daylight saving time was not invented for the benefit of farmers, rather, it was Benjamin Franklin, who suggested the idea in 1784. 🍁in 1915, the Germans were the first to officially adopt the light-extending system as a fuel-saving measure during World War I 🍁From 1986 -2006, DST in the U.S. started in April and ended in October but was extended to March through November in 2007. 🍁Approx. 70 countries around the world observe DLS. 🍁The only places that do not observe DST are: Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and most of Arizona (some of the Indian reservations in Arizona do observe DST). 🍁It is called ‘Daylight Saving’ NOT ‘Daylight Saving(s)! . .
