Elias would love to say he loved Fallon when they were kids but he was kind of a dick, even when they were little. He saw the love and attention their father showered her with and he was bitter, and didn’t pay her much attention because of it.
Some people would call Elias a bad brother for doing drugs with Fallon, but his logic for doing lines of coke in his office at LUX with his little sister at his side was, if she was resisting treatment, at the very least she was safe, with drugs that weren’t laced and someone she could trust with her. He knew it was damaging, probably enabling, but it was all he could think of at the time. He still feels guilty about not checking her into rehab himself, but, he’d probably also be a hypocrite if he did.
Elias treats Birdie like his own, and often, stops in just to pick her up so he can hang out with her and the twins for the day. There are very few people who know that Elias has been invested in learning how to make homemade snacks and things for the girls, but Fallon of course is one of them, especially because Elias stops by with premade snacks for his niece, leaving them in the freezer for her to find when needed.
Elias never told Fallon about what happened with their dad the day he randomly showed up to his office months ago. He’s doesn’t feel bad for what he did, but he doesn’t want Fallon to look at him differently, not when they’ve come so far in their relationship.
