The son of Tom and Mary Holden. You remember Oliver’s straight auburn hair, his multicolored hazel eyes and odd white patch on his hairline well from your childhood although you two were more friendly acquaintance, he mostly spent time with his best friend Janice Wilkins. Ironically enough similar to you and Amata they too were victims of Butch and his gangs bullying, both being shy and quite people. To your and possibly even his parents surprised when he took and complained his Goat Exam, he became the Vault Chaplain.
When you were escaping Vault 101 on that faithful day you encountered the Holdens in the Atrium, overhearing Tom telling his wife and son on how they should make a run for it and the pleads of his family to return to their quarters, the pleads fell on deaf ears as Tom ran towards the exit only to be gunned down by both Officer O’Brain and Officer Richard. This caused Mary to run after her bleeding husband only for her too be gunned down, you saw Oliver attempt to run to his parents as well but you grabbed him and slapped some sense into him and told him there’s nothing he could do and to please go back to his apartment. He did as he was told and you haven’t seen him since you came back.
Born in 2256 to Mary and Tom Holden, Oliver is two years older than the Lone Wonder. Oliver Holden grew up in the safety and isolation of Vault 101 and lived in the same neighborhood as James, his child and the Deloria family in a modest apartment with his own room and terminal. As a child he was a quiet, soft spoken and kind individual who would often spend his would often spend his time with Janice Wilkins, he would also have to deal with rude and snide comments by some of the vault security officers especially from Allen Mack who could chastise his parents for “Letting the boy be too soft and Playing with girls”. To much or the Holden family dismay, Allen would actually encourage his own son Stevie and than later on Wally to bully Oliver.
But as he grew into a teenager he became more awkward and nervous, especially around the Mack boys and he and Janice were often on the radar for Butch and his gang to torment and bully. But still he head his head up high and kept to his studies and books, and as time for the Goat Exam came he dreaded having to have to work security. But much to his, his parents and other residents surprise, he became the Vaults very own Chaplain. He loved his job and took it very seriously, often working as a religious, moral and spiritual adviser/counselor to the residents, he even converted the old cigar lounge into a mini Chapel, where sermons and other religious events took place. Everything was going well for him till that faithful day and where everything changed….
After the Lone Wonder returned and saved the vault from it’s own demise and Amata becoming Overseer, everything was awkward as everyone (Minus Butch) tried to rebuild their lives and organize to prepare for our contact with the outside world. Well that was the plan, but then the Vault door opened and in came James’s kid and along with them was a whole bunch of weird people, a few in some weird power-suit while the rest in what you assumed to be radiation suits. After pulling Amata to the side and talking for a few hours, they both came out and to the surprise and shock of everyone, we now had new vault residents and we weren’t sugar coated about them either.
The whole vault was told everything about these Enclave guys, on how they were the descendants of the pre-war government, and all the crazy and evil things that they done to the Capital wasteland etc. But now here they were, tired, wore out and completely destroyed, but most importantly looking for a new home and oddly enough redemption! So now here you are with around 37 new people to call neighbors…. You really hope and pray that this doesn’t blow up in anyone faces.
Olivier is a young multiracial man with a stocky build and above average height, standing at 6’3. He has pale olive skin with freckles on his face, along with black straight hair and with center of his hair being white, and his eyes are almond shaped with each eye being a different color, with his left being brown mixed with gray while his right is pale blue mixed with green. He’s also quite attractive similar to an old movie star, he has a strong wide chin, strong jaw, aquiline nose and but soft cheekbones.
As a child Oliver was a shy, soft spoken and friendly individual, but would often get bullied by Stevie Mack and constantly face snide remarks by Allen, and when he began a teenager the bullying became worst. As he and his best friend Janice would be targeted by the tunnel snakes, this would lead him towards learning hand to hand combat so if they ever got too physical with him or especially Janice’s, he’ll be able to defend her. As he grew into an adult and grew into his career, he became much more talkative and vocal about wanting his fellow residents to attend service and attend bible study, which often lead to him being viewed as an annoying and pushy like Beatrice.
:Mr. and Mrs. Holden. Oliver had a close and positive relationship with his parents, who also supported him and his interests. They had no problem with his friendship with Janice and hoped they would marry one day, but they were very surprise when he became a Chaplain. After their passing he mourns them deeply but hides it. :Janice Wilkins. Was Oliver’s best friend who tragically died during the chaos in vault 101. Before that though they spent practically every day together never boring of each other company, they also had a lot in common, especially their shy, quiet and timid personalities. He too mourns her deeply. : James/Lone Wonder. Oliver unlike other residents in the Vault likes this odd family, but he wasn’t particularly close to the Lone Wonder as he is a few years older then them and he had Janice to keep him company. He also doesn’t blame James or their child for what happened in the vault and was grateful for his old neighbor is rescuing his home and fellow dwellers. :Mack Family. He didn’t like any of the men in the family finding them rude, unpleasant and cruel especially during his childhood. As for Susie Mack he found her to be bratty as a child and teenager but after the incident, she’s change and grown and also been through so much, they both have a friendly relationship now. : Almodovar Family. He respected the Overseer until he went crazy and let his Officers gun down his parents, and as for Amata he was nice to her and he believes she’ll be a great Overseer. :Kendall Family. He respects Officer Kendall and thought Mary was a pleasant women, he had a crush on Christine and enjoyed Monica’s visits to Chapel, he mourns her deeply.
After some time has passed and the Vault being restored to it’s former glory and pre-chaos and rebellion period. Things in the vault have felt off. Their leader officer, Alexander Fitzpatrick made all of us do some screening to determine our health status, you guessed they are just scared? But there’s also this tense feeling of having so many new faces in the vault, which don’t help that both of our groups of a sort of isolationist is mindset. But it’s not all doom and gloom, these new dwellers love attending my sermons and take comfort with my eagerness to interact them into vault society. And much to my joy, there are now new kids who are so eager for Sunday school… just like little Monica… I think I’ll manage this.

Hi hello! I hoped you enjoyed this “little” of an oc I created in a short period of time lol. It all started when @tinytorchlight pointed out that I don’t have a Fallout oc! Which is ironic as I always would daydream What If’s etc and so I created an oc to go with a post Lone Wonder/Project Purity. I hoped you like him. And thank you to @tinytorchlight for being such a big help.
