omg what you said about loving the fandom in the earlier days; yeah! i love eddie as a character and am glad he exists, (and maddie too since she wasn't brought in until season 2), but the fandom was a lot calmer and more fun to be in pre-buddie if that makes sense.. like, i also feel like we focused more on the others as characters. i'm not against buddie at all, but 9-1-1 has an amazing diverse cast with multiple lgbt characters, biracial relationships etc.
same!! i wouldve loved to see what the fandom was like during season 1 and earlier on in season 2 bc i can only imagine it was just. calm! i remember it being mainly the same, relatively small group of people making content and while ive only been around during ab (after buddie), the earlier days definitely felt like there was proper love given to every other character! like yes most of us were big buddie shippers but we also loved everyone else, n i wish thats how it was still
