If you had a baby, could you oppose the death penalty?
Japan has the death penalty. Shoko Asahara was executed in this month. He is a founder the doomsday cult Aum Shinrikyo and also the mastermind of the deadly 1995 sarin attack in Tokyo subway. it killed 13 people and injured 6000 people.
I think the death penalty deserve him. Some Japanese people hope to abolish it. Kazutoyo Koyabu who is a comedian in Japan said: ”I can't exactly affirm the death penalty, because I actually feel a false charge is definitely the bad thing. However, I agree with that with a reservation. The reservation is the red-handed crime.” I think he is right.
I want you to imagine that you would have a baby, and kill your baby. Could you really oppose the death penalty? No, I couldn't. Is that wrong?
