❛ when you said fixer upper for some reason i wasn't expecting it to be THIS bad. ❜ she winced slightly as she turned in a slow circle to eye the old home's would-be living room. the place was charming on the outside, a bit run-down, but charming. a little work and it could have been PERFECT. the smile on miguel's face alone made her want the house. how in love he was with it had her falling for it as well.
then came the inside of the house. though she could tell why someone might have bought it once upon a time now it was falling APART. it was clear why it was going at such a low price. the owner just wanted the dump off their hands and miguel was brimming with excitement. which meant behind her back their real estate agent had been showing him this NIGHTMARE and now he was set on it. but when she'd said she hadn't minded a fixer upper that they could make perfect just for them she hadn't meant "let's buy a train wreck and see what happens".
❛ my uncle taught me a BIT about the "fixing stuff up" thing but this house needs some SERIOUS love. ❜
