I'd rather it be by someone I love. Trust is a hard thing to gain back once it has been tarnished. But love is not as fickle as some people make it out to be. It's also something you would go out of your way to repair. It's easier to say "fuck em" to someone you used to trust and Id rather not lose any more people in my life.
I have a couple of friends who are exactly like me and I count them as a blessing. It makes life less stressful when there are people who think, react, and support the way you do. They know why you are the way you are and know how to deal with your eccentricities. Plus Im a very open and reliable person, if not a bit stubborn. Everyone should have a friend that will listen, advise, and not immediately condemn.
Love does not equal sex! While I admit it can be an important part of a relationship as far as spiritual and emotional expression and connection, it doesnt have to be a driving force, especially if that connection is accomplished in other ways. Besides, whaat about platonic relationships, or asexual persons, or those who may have a condition or belief or circumstance that stands in the way? They experience love regardless.
I feel like a jerk but I wouldnt give up my job. Not when there are organizations and departments that are set in place specifically to help families with little to no income. Playing the martyr wouldnt help both parties but passing along info would.
If I had to choose between my gran and a newborn I would undoubtedly choose the baby. She has lived a full life but who knows what astounding things can result from that baby's life? OF course I would try to save both but if I couldnt, gran would, or SHOULD, understand.
Hope I answered these clearly enough!
