It’s not that Emma thinks she’s bad at dating, it’s just that it’s a while since she’s attempted it in earnest. Of course there have been flings and one night stands she’d rather forget since things with Andrew ended, but even as early as right now, their first date, she gets the impression things with Zac might just be different. Or maybe it’s just hope. It’s so hard to tell sometimes. And maybe it’s a bad idea to have their first proper date so public, but it’s hard to resist the call of the ocean and also the call of practically endless drinks... even if, in retrospect, that might not be the best combination. She’s admittedly a little hungover from last night and maybe that’s what’s triggered her OOTD today, a dinosaur-themed bikini that she hopes at the very least makes Zac laugh. Making him laugh has somehow quickly become her goal – be it in person or via their endless thread of texts. Spotting him where they’ve agreed to meet in between a bar and the beach, she smiles broadly and heads on over, towel wrapped around her waist. “Hey there,” she says, kissing him on the cheek just as she did at Starbucks only this time lingering a little longer, just because she can. “You look good. Really good.”
