Can I ask what exactly is shufflemancy?

Sure thing! Shufflemancy’s a modern form of divination, using a music player on shuffle and reading meaning from a song and its lyrics. It’s obviously newer than something like tarot (which started off as a simple card game!) but is just as based in random sorting. People divine with all sorts of things that use this principle, from tarot cards to Pokemon cards. I even use a tumblr blog as an oracle. 

When I do shufflemancy, I use my Spotify library, which has hundreds of songs, and skip through a given number of times with the asker’s question in mind (I’m finding it works best when I’m not at all distracted). The song that comes up is an answer or response to the question.
