ok i love this interface, super helpful to find the unawakened fams so i don’t have to go thru 800+ daily. except that whenever u choose a familiar the whole page refreshes any search parameters are seemingly reset it seems even though the the options menus don’t change?

If you aren’t light sensitive (epileptic, have seizures/symptoms of seizures/potentially could have seizures from flashing lights, and so on), here’s a quick video of how I bond with familiars. It takes me just over 3 minutes to do 6 pages of dragons + 3 on page 7. This is on my desktop, my Eee Slate is slower (I usually do a page at a time if I have to use it). The only thing that not everyone has here is the macroed key I have which closes tabs. (This is a thing I did because of OviPets, but it’s handy for FR too, since the ctrl-w stretch is painful.) And some ranting about the ads and accessibility of the site (or lack of). Also, that flashing bit needs to stop. That’s another strike against accessibility. Don’t get banned for botting. Find ways to make it easier until FR does an official fix.

How to Bond with a TON of Familiars FAST (for Chrome)

You’ll need:

A decent internet connection (for minimal waiting time)

Preferably a computer with a mouse for optimum clicking

Google Chrome (because 90% of this is chrome keyboard shenanigans)

Preferably a large number of dragons (because no way in hell am I switching all their familiars after each click. So I just bond all 120+ of them, and when they awaken I replace said familiars)

How to Bond like a Pro:

Press <CTRL> + <-> or <CTRL> + <scroll down your mouse wheel>

Get the zoom at 50%

Go to your lair

Select the first page

HOLD <CTRL> while you click on ALL dragons on that page. ALL 20 OF THEM - That should create 20 tabs. Now onwards to bonding!

Click <CTRL> + <TAB> to switch tabs and click the little heart icon. With this zoom you don’t have to scroll down, so just hold the cursor arrow in place and click away with each tab switch.

Get back to the first tab

Click with your RIGHT mouse button over the tab and select “Close Other Tabs” (It unfortunately doesn’t have a keyboard shortcut)

Click on the next lair page

Rinse and repeat

If you have a lot of dragons like me (120+) you can get a lot of familiar bonding done every day. Don’t worry about bonding your entire bestiary in one day, or you’ll lose motivation and forget about it altogether.

Bond in batches with all your permadragons, then switch the awakened familiars for new ones when they max out! You should get a few chests a day, at least, so the pennies add up eventually!
