You know what's actually crazy? My mom was with a man for the past 13 years who stepped in and was a father to my three sisters and I. Well, they split up. Now that we've all moved, he doesn't even call, text, and see how we are. He has a new girlfriend, and it's like my sisters and I don't exist. He was the closest to a father that I've had growing up, my biological father and I have a long distance relationship over the phone, but I've never had the chance to meet him in person, yet. I'm 28, and it hurts. It hurts that someone can be in your life that you look up to and care about, but throw you out like you are nothing, like all you were was a headache. I could go so much deeper into this, but it just sucks. We were thrown away, and I know it goes much deeper than that, but I'm just hurt right now.
