Vintage Pyrex and Flamingos
Although Labor Day is past, we are technically still in summer for a little longer, and the weather is quite hot. Before the temperatures begin to cool and autumn arrives, here is a charming arrangement of vintage Pyrex and flamingos by Rebecca Lee Neft from the Decorating with Pyrex group on Facebook.
Pyrex patterns seen include the much-loved classic pink and white Gooseberry (1957 - 1966) and that looks like a Seville (1971 - 1972) casserole and lid on the bottom shelf!
Gooseberry, along with the Butterprint pattern, were introduced in 1957 as part of the opalware Pyrex line, preceded only by Snowflake and Pink Daisy.
Seville has a solid tangerine bottom and a white lid with a stylized floral medallion design.
Known for her creative displays, Rebecca is hailed as the Pyrex Queen of our decorating group. Thank you, Rebecca, for your kind permission to share this wonderful grouping!
