I'm feeling very lonely when it comes to being Ace in my city. I haven't found anyone else that is Asexual like myself. I have a few ppl in my life that I told, they accept me, but they don't understand what it's like to be a 27 year old woman, single, asexual, wants a relationship, but is sex repulsed, and doesn't want kids.. Ever. I can't find anyone I relate to, or any man that's okay with it. I don't like discord chats but I just want ace friends who understand how hard this life is..

Hey Anon,

You hang in there. I promise you that you are not alone. I know that you feel lonely, but we are a growing community. You are never alone, we are all here for you, we understand you, we support you. Don’t forget your Ace Family. There are millions of us.

I know that it’s hard, trust me, but don’t let it get you down. There are so many people out there who feel the same way that you do. Explore your options and see what other places you can meet or even date other aces. Check out your local LGBTQ+ spaces as well. Many college campuses have LBGTQ Groups and Aces are totally welcome. 

We are growing. I am so amazed to see how far we have come from when I found the Asexual Community almost 10 years ago. We have overcome so  many strides. We got more ace representation and famous aces than ever. And in time, we will grow even bigger. The more we grow the more the rest of the world will accept and understand us.

And remember, there is more to you than your orientation. You are more than just asexual. You are a person with talents, gifts, ideas, and qualities that so many people love and appreciate. People like you for you and not your orientation. To the right people, your orientation does not matter, you matter. It’s you people like, not your orientation. 

Don’t let your worries and fears hold you back. Go out and live your life. You will one day find someone who loves and appreciates you and will form a beautiful relationship with. But sometimes, these things happen when we are not looking for it. So, go out and live your life. Have fun, hang out with family and friends, and do what you love. And never doubt for one moment that you are not loved, appreciated, or respected. Because you are.

Your fellow Aces are here for you and millions of others outside the Ace Community are here for you. We a growing strong group. You can never be alone. do you know of any notable/famous people who identify as asexual or grey-asexual? The Wikipedia page is a bit thin on the ground.

Gosh, I don't know. I think because it wasn't well-known in the past, we can only speculate about historical figures. This list is very good and includes some celebrities, and there's also this very speculative list. In addition to that, some think that the writer H. P. Lovecraft was ace as well.
