In 1984 the Oakland-based print foundry Crown Point Press launched Crown Point Pure Silks, a collection of artist-designed lingerie, that included this, The John Cage Kimono. The colors and placement of the handpainted blocks were determined by chance operations, though they all do seem very 80s Cage mushroomcore.
