Did Turbo Fast Really give the fans shipping/queer bait?
So hear me out I love turbo fast since I was young and yeah it has its funny moments but why do Skidmark and Turbo sometimes have their moments where it feels like queer bait for the fans watching the show?
Exhibit A-this scene from “Bee Story”
This was the episode where White Shadows comfort item Mr.BuzzBee goes missing this escalates to Shadow actually showing stress.
Later in that same episode when Skidmark and Turbo are trying to find Mr.BuzzBee in lost and found they end up finding a REAL flying insect that looks like a bee in the lost and found bin. So we later see that both of them have trapped the creature in a drinking glass. (As shown above ⬆️ before they high fived each other.) which we see both of them soon about to high “five” each other (since they don’t have hands only Skidmark does but they use their eyestalks instead). Which as seen by the photo above Skidmark kinda looks he’s rubbing his head against Turbo which it looks like he’s laughing.
Exhibit B-The whole F*cking episode of Ready, Set, Glow
This episode was where Skidmark being the conspiracy theorist he is, tries to undercover one of his idiotic conspiracy theories that the glowworms were probably aliens “I think” with the help from Turbo in an awesome zip line race. This was also where we got the best dirty minded lines ever in the shows history. “I have other plans for his butt.”-Skidmark
“I don’t wanna know what that means.”-Turbo
But the dirty minded bit wasn’t important what is important is…
Whoever gave us viewers this scene thank you and two “the looks are so obvious”. (This isn’t the only “we are secretly going out as “friends” episode featuring these two)
OH WAIT I GOT MORE PROOF IN THIS EPISODE!!
Breaking news there’s another dirty minded line in the same freaking episode
“my favorite part was when I was riding on you.”-Skidmark
Which if your a dirty minded freak would say “OH SKIDMARK AND TURBO DEFINITELY HAD S*X!!!” which yes I’ve have to agree on. But the actual context was that Skidmarks favorite thing from the “going out as friends” adventure was when he was riding on turbos shell. Which is freaking adorable.
And later in the same conversation they both say this…
Which if you’re me they’re hiding a secret that they’re “going out as friends” when clearly Turbo is dating his quirky, overly caffeinated best friend who secretly gets annoyed at Turbo
when he just wants to left alone to work. Like me “I really wanna say eww people but I hide that fact to the public”
Exhibit C-What the heck is going on here?!
“Chet gets Burned” was quite an interesting episode to say the least. It was Burns birthday which clearly Chet forgot, Blah blah blah Burn goes out with Skidmark instead (who at the time never dated anyone which made Skidmark feel awkward), yap yap yap which then makes Chet feel sad so he pretends to date a another girl to make Burn jealous or something uhh whatever, yap yap yap yappity yap yap, Chet’s new date is named Girlfriend McHottie Pants (dumbest name choice ever but funny)
So later in the same episode when Turbo “disguised as Girlfriend McHottie Pants” picks up Skidmark from the Ferris wheel we get this famous scene
Skidmark straight up flirting with a male character “by the way who is cross dressing.” Now I got 2 main questions I want answers to…
Question 1- Skidmark is aware this is Turbo but then so casually flirts on him saying “Well aright then Turbo Mchotte Pants”? Question 2-Where the f*ck did Skidmark get such rizz like damn he’s smooth? exhibit C supporting details- Skidmark is a freak
We have seen Skidmark flirt so casually with his Turbos older brother Chet as seen in the season 3 episode “Belle of the Gumball”
Where Skid says he liked the way Chet’s shell did this “spiral”. While using his eyestalks to check it out.
Skidmark also played naughty off of Chet as seen in the season 3 episode “The Dry Spell”
In which Skidmark and I quote “whipped Chet’s big ol’ ass with a towel with a perverted smile on his face.” Like what was Skidmark thinking before he did such an act? I believe he was thinking “Oh there’s a butt I could wack today I sure hope Chet won’t mind.”
In conclusion Skidmark you’re kinda freaky but that’s cool.
Exhibit D- Another whole f*cking episode called “Don’t Feed the Troll”
Oh yeah another “we are secretly going out as “friends” episode” of Turbo Fast. This episode is about Turbo being targeted by an internet troll. Which “Skidmark being Skidmark again” thinks this guy on the internet is a troll 🧌 (the mythical creature). So in a “Skidmark and Turbo totally not dating adventure.” They try to change the internets trolls ways I think (I don’t remember this episode that well). Please help me.
Most of the episode is literally just turbo and Skidmark having some beef with each other
If you consider the conversation they had about turbo wanting to find a way to the trolls heart. (Skidmark wasn’t having any of turbo’s sh*ty yapping).
Exhibit E- another totally going as friends moment but it’s short and not for the whole freaking episode.
Gills from season one is one of those unique holiday specials that isn’t a Halloween or Christmas episode but rather a Fourth of July special which is something kids shows don’t do often. As this special has a twist…
Skidmark being Skidmark again decides that he cause an uproar because of a snail eating goldfish is in the pool. One. Why would he do that?
Two. That’s just messed up.
Three.why he do that act? So later in the episode Skidmark teams up with Turbo and well let’s just say… it’s kinda similar to the Don’t Feed the Troll “date”.
