QT has officially exceeded the Yuletide Exchange's eligibility definition of "rare." Stats, charts, and discussion of the growth of posted works in the Queen's Thief fandom.
This was compiled and posted in April for QT Weird the Tag 2025.
MCC 19 Viewership stats :D cross-posted from Reddit!
Total Viewership Over Time
Peak viewership was 569,996 viewers at 9:15PM, during Grid Runners and right before break. This surpasses MCC All Stars in being the lowest viewed MCC (689.0k) in S2 and the latest peak by a few minutes. Those dips and peaks during Battle Box look like they're coming from Dream and Ranboo but it's unclear as to why. Otherwise, we're normal! Viewer retention was 90.0% (570.0k -> 513.0k).
Team Viewership Over Time
Pretty much NO abnormalities! Dodgebolt increase for the Teal Turkeys was around 78.5k (103.8k -> 182.3k) and for the Cerulean Candy Canes around 4.5k (3.7k -> 8.2k). Needless to say there was a fan favorite.
Individual Viewership Over Time
Presumably George's hump at the beginning of the graph is because he acted as "pre-show" act. Every MCC there are usually 1-4 creators who actually peak BEFORE the event, meaning that a large chunk of their viewership was from people who wanted to watch someone else. Tubbo is the one who most often falls into this category and you can see a little bit of that here. This MCC had a lot of late starters (gave us a panic, I'll tell you!) so you get to see a bit more of it than usual!
Getting to see the individual lines doesn't clarify the Battle Box dips/peaks to me. It doesn't look like Ranboo viewers fled to Dream or vice versa. If you have any ideas please share! Dream also dips during Sky Battle, which could be normal fluctuation. Grian experiences a slight peak during Snows of Time before dipping during Survival Games, which I'm pretty sure is because most viewers of his knew his team wasn't making Dodgebolt with SG being the last game, and for some that was a problem.
Median % Viewership
Mmmm, look at that 53.1% split. But hey at least no one person got one third this time. I'm always a little surprised by how many fewer viewers SBI teams have compared to whatever team got the highest %, seeing as that's most of what I see people talk about. It's an important lesson in how who you surround yourself with and the groups that you're in bias your worldview!
Median % By Group
I counted GeminiTay with Hermitcraft this time just to make the count of Hermitcraft and Empires members equal (pretend I fixed the demographic breakdown graph lol). The domination of Dream SMP is so consistent that I am switching tabs between the one I'm writing in and my last post and they're nearly identical, save for the demographics. Something please happen to mix this up. Just for fun.
Individual Peak Viewership
Dark sections represent median viewership, and the light section is the difference between median and peak. Fun fact! vGumiho's peak is 3770% of her median viewership. The next largest is Sneegsnag at 455% of his median. Both of those are a result of end of event Dodgebolt boosts. Rendog had the smallest fluctuation, his peak only being 6% more than his median. Consistent king. That translates to a high retention rate.

And here they are, sans peak and arranged in median order! Once again, top 5 don't change but Grian encroaches. One of these days he will be top 5.
