Ascending Shadows pink cocktail ring by De Beers

'Sculptural and contemporary, this cocktail ring is inspired by the way stepped surfaces interact with light and shade.

Swirling within two fans of deep rose aluminium is an arc of titanium which is pavé-set with round brilliant white and intense pink diamonds and frames a plethora of marquise-shaped white diamonds and browny pink roughs.

In the very centre sits a 1.24 carat pear-shaped fancy brown orange diamond set in 18k rose gold. The deep rose pink aluminium steps arch down towards the shoulders of the ring, cloaking the 18k white gold shank. A truly striking, one-of-a-kind design.' £96,500

Nour Arida at the Cannes Film Festival 2021, wearing the Cape de Lumière by Claire Choisne at Boucheron.

The Cape, from the 26 Vendôme collection, is constructed from fan-shaped panels which resemble peacock feathers. Matte surfaces are paired with twisted chains. It is set with 850 round diamonds, with an 81.62ct citrine stone holding the cape together at the centre. It took more than 925 hours to create.
