Hey Eddie how am I suppose to do when you fail your mother. (Because I feel like I did)

hi. im sorry you’re feeling like this. i know the feeling really well. if your mother is anything like mine (i think that’s why you must have chosen me to ask?) then my answer is this:

your mother may have a lot of expectations for you that aren’t fair. the most important thing is to remember what YOU want. be true to yourself, do what you believe is right. and don’t spend every last one of your days trying to please someone who may never be pleased. some parents don’t realize that their words can hurt their children so much. but that’s on them (her) and not you.

look to your friends in the worst times, because they can help lift you up and remind you that you are truly never alone. i hope you’re okay. you can always ask me anything.
